Bevacizumab has also been studied in combination with cisplatin-gemcitabine as first-line therapy for nonsquamous NSCLC, with improved response rates (20.1% vs 34.1%) and modest improvement in progression-free survival (6.7 vs 6.1 mo). Overall survival was not different. [174]
