Arginine vasopressin derivatives

Indicated in patients with thromboembolic disorders.

Desmopressin acetate (DDAVP)

Has been used to treat abnormal uterine bleeding in patients with coagulation defects. Transiently elevates factor VIII and von Willebrand factor.
