Answer

Answer

A report of an international study demonstrated that serious complications among patients with eclampsia (including maternal mortality) may be predicted by the use of a model that incorporates gestational age, chest pain or dyspnea, oxygen saturation, platelet count, and creatinine and aspartate transaminase concentrations. Although clinical use of the model awaits future validation, the identification of the predictive variables may aid in management decisions. [33]
