Answer

Answer

Serial chest radiography can be used to observe the progression of severe CAP if the patient has not improved within 5-7 days. [7] Chest radiographic findings worsen rapidly in severe typical bacterial CAP and require a significant period to improve. It is important to note that clinical resolution occurs long before radiologic resolution.
