Worldwide, the average annual incidence of TEN is 0.4-1.3 cases per million population. [23] In 1992, the cumulative incidence of TEN and SJS in Germany was 1.9 cases per million population. A French survey of dermatologists and health care facilities reported an annual incidence of 1 case per million population.
