Findings of dengue shock syndrome include the following:

  • Hypotension

  • Bradycardia (paradoxical) or tachycardia associated with hypovolemic shock

  • Hepatomegaly

  • Hypothermia

  • Narrow pulse pressure (< 20 mm Hg)

  • Signs of decreased peripheral perfusion
