Signs of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV) may include the following:

  • Localized inguinal adenopathy or buboes

  • Genital ulceration

  • “Groove sign” – Separation of the inguinal and femoral lymph nodes by the inguinal ligament (seen in 15-20% of patients)
