Transverse myelitis presenting as Brown-Sequard syndrome has occurred in a 44-year-old man. [49] Myelitis presented with extremity weakness, abnormal reflexes, sensory loss, and sphincter dysfunction. The patient experienced rapid resolution of symptoms in a few days and was asymptomatic within 3 months.
