Encephalopathy is a complication of CSD described in up to 5% of patients Although encephalitis usually follows development of lymphadenopathy by 1-6 weeks, it may precede or occur without the presence of lymph node involvement. [44, 45, 46, 47] Most patients are young, in parallel to the spectrum of patients diagnosed with CSD.
