Parinaud oculoglandular syndrome, which is characterized by unilateral conjunctivitis with adjacent preauricular lymphadenopathy, occurs in 2-3% of patients with CSD. [43] In these patients, the site of inoculation is usually the eyelid or conjunctiva secondary to a lick, scratch, or bite.
