Patients with posterior cerebral artery (PCA) infarcts present for neurologic evaluation with symptoms including the following:

  • Acute vision loss

  • Confusion [8]

  • New onset posterior cranium headache

  • Paresthesias

  • Limb weakness

  • Dizziness

  • Nausea

  • Memory loss

  • Language dysfunction [9]
