Answer

Answer

The small cell variant of mesothelioma is a very rare and somewhat controversial entity in which the neoplastic cells resemble those of small cell carcinoma but lack neuroendocrine markers and express mesothelial markers. Small cell mesothelioma occurs in older individuals with a history of asbestos exposure. [3, 68]
