Most patients with pleural EHE present clinically with chest pain and dyspnea. Chest radiography reveals unilateral, often hemorrhagic, pleural effusion with or without pleural thickening or ipsilateral loss of lung volume. [51] Chest CT scanning typically shows diffuse or localized smooth or nodular pleural thickening. Loculated pleural effusion is a frequent accompaniment. [51, 52]
