Physical examination reveals ipsilateral diminished breath sounds and dullness to percussion. Chest radiography and/or chest CT scanning typically shows unilateral pleural effusion, multiple pleural nodularity, and a rind of pleural thickening. The process is accentuated at the lung base, with frequent mediastinal and fissural pleural involvement. [4, 46]
