Dolutegravir (DTG)

  • 50 mg PO once daily (adolescents ≥12 y)
  • Not recommended in women who may become pregnant because of a possibility of teratogenicity
  • Pediatric dosing is as follows:
    • < 30 kg: Safety and efficacy not established
    • ≥30 kg to < 40 kg: 35 mg PO daily (ie, one 25-mg tablet and one 10-mg tablet)
    • ≥40 kg: 50 mg PO daily
  • Triumeq: Combination formulation including DTG 50 mg/lamivudine (3TC) 300 mg/abacavir (ABC) 600 mg; take once daily with or without food; must check HLA B5701
  • Dovato: Combination formulation including DTG 50 mg/lamivudine (3TC) 300 mg
  • Juluca: Combination formulation including RPV 25 mg/DTG 50mg; take with food
