Electrocardiographic (ECG) findings in hypomagnesemia are nonspecific, and include the following:

  • ST segment depression
  • Tall, peaked T waves
  • Flat T waves or depression in the precordium
  • U waves
  • Loss of voltage
  • PR prolongation
  • Widened QRS complex
