The lifetime risk of being diagnosed with NHL is 2.2%. It has been estimated that in 2021, 81,560 new cases of NHL will be diagnosed, with 20,720 deaths. In the US, NHL is the seventh most common cancer in males, accounting for 5% of new cancers and 4% of all cancer-related deaths in males, and is the sixth most common cancer in females, accounting for 4% of new cancers and 3% of cancer deaths in females.
