Answer

Congenital or inherited causes of aplastic anemia are responsible for at least 25% of cases in children and for perhaps up to 10% of adults. [33] Patients may have dysmorphic features or physical stigmata, but marrow failure may be the initial presenting feature. Several loci have been identified that are associated not only with increased susceptibility to aplastic anemia but also with other physical findings.
