Contraindications to endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) are similar to contraindications to flexible bronchoscopy and include following:

  • Life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias

  • Current or recent myocardial ischemia

  • Poorly controlled heart failure

  • Severe hypoxemia

  • Uncooperative patient
