In hypertensive adults with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) and symptoms of volume overload, prescribe diuretics to control BP. [21] For those with persistent hypertension after management of volume overload, prescribe ACEIs or ARBs and beta blockers titrated to achieve an SBP below 130 mm Hg.
