Symptoms of subarachnoid hemorrhage may include the following:

  • Sudden onset of severe headache

  • Signs of meningismus with nuchal rigidity

  • Photophobia and pain with eye movements

  • Nausea and vomiting

  • Syncope - Prolonged or atypical
