Complications from hepatitis B include progression to hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and, rarely, cirrhosis. Glomerulonephritis and polyarteritis nodosa are seen, as well as various dermatologic, cardiopulmonary, joint, neurologic, hematologic, and gastrointestinal (GI) tract manifestations.
