Of patients with PBC, 25% are incidentally diagnosed during a routine blood evaluation. Symptoms of PBC include the following:

  • Fatigue (65% of patients): The first reported symptom

  • Pruritus (55%)

  • Right upper quadrant discomfort (8-17%)
