Answer

Intracardiac EPS is performed in a cardiac electrophysiology laboratory. With the use of multipolar catheter electrode systems, recordings from many intracardiac sites can be performed simultaneously, facilitating delineation of the sequence of depolarization and impulse conduction in the atria, AV junction, and ventricle.
