Answer

In patients who are potential candidates for transcatheter aortic valve replacement, the role of echocardiography is critical. For this reason, the European Association of Echocardiography (EAE) and American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) have published recommendations for the use of echocardiography in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
