Symptoms of heat exhaustion include the following:

Normal to slightly elevated core temperature

Fatigue or malaise
-
Orthostatic hypotension, tachycardia

Clinical signs of dehydration
-
Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea (due to splanchnic and renal vasoconstriction)
-
Intact mental status
-
Responsive to cool environment, fluid and electrolyte replacement
