Answer

Answer

Several circulating markers of endothelial cell injury have been shown to be elevated in women who develop preeclampsia before they became symptomatic. These include endothelin, cellular fibronectin, and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1, with an altered prostacyclin/thromboxane profile also present. [3, 27]
