The incidence of preeclampsia in the United States is estimated to range from 2% to 6% in healthy, nulliparous women. [7, 8, 9] Among all cases of the preeclampsia, 10% occur in pregnancies of less than 34 weeks' gestation. The global incidence of preeclampsia has been estimated at 5-14% of all pregnancies.
