Physical findings include the following:

  • Mucocutaneous findings

    • Purpura

    • Easy bruising

    • Mucosal bleeding

  • Hepatomegaly

  • Splenomegaly

  • Lymphadenopathy

  • CNS dysfunction

    • Lethargy

    • Irritability

    • Disorientation

    • Headache

    • Seizures

    • Coma

  • Other findings: Renal, pulmonary, and cardiac involvement have been reported in some patients.
