The Skoog procedure [16] is a well-tolerated, effective, and permanent treatment for axillary hyperhidrosis. It is only appropriate for patients with hyperhidrosis--solely or predominantly--of the axilla. ETS is the more appropriate choice for patients who also suffer from palmar or facial hyperhidrosis.
