Cutis laxa is a rare disorder that is principally in the skin but also can involve other organ systems. The pathologic defect consists of degeneration of the elastic fibers of the dermis. [37] Autosomal dominant, autosomal recessive, and x-linked recessive and acquired forms have been recognized.
