Answer

A study by Ferrándiz et al reported that in Spain’s dermatologic outpatient population aged 45 years or older, the prevalence of actinic keratosis is 28.6%. The study also found the rate of actinic keratoses in men and women to be 38.4% and 20.8%, respectively, with 45.2% of patients with the lesions being between ages 71 and 80 years. [18]
