  • Assessment for appropriate wound healing

  • Evaluation and treatment of postoperative complications, such as seroma, wound infection, bleeding, and nerve damage

  • Follow-up of the pathologic specimen

  • Encouragement of early patient mobility and range-of-motion exercises
