McCune-Albright syndrome (MAS) in its classic form consists of at least 2 of the following triad of features [7, 8, 9] :

  • Polyostotic fibrous dysplasia (PFD)

  • Café-au-lait skin pigmentation

  • Autonomous endocrine hyperfunction – The most common form of autonomous endocrine hyperfunction in this syndrome is precocious puberty, which is typically gonadotropin-independent [10, 11]
