What are the ATP III guidelines classification of triglycerides?

The Adult Treatment Panel guidelines (ATP III) were published in 2001 and reclassified serum triglycerides (TG) as shown in Table 2, below. An update to the ATP III guidelines (ATP IV) was published in 2013. [87]
