All patients received ESWT once a week for 3 weeks, with 2400 shots in an anterior-to-posterior direction on the anterior shoulder joint using a low/moderate-energy flux density (0.06–0.14 mJ/mm2, depending on individual pain tolerance). No relevant adverse effects were reported. [63]
