Answer

In 2010, the International Standard of Care Committee for Congenital Muscular Dystrophy published the first guidelines for children with congenital muscular dystrophies (CMDs) with consensus on care recommendations in seven areas: diagnosis, neurology, pulmonology, orthopedics/rehabilitation, gastroenterology/nutrition/speech/oral care, cardiology, and palliative care. The guideline development was funded by CureCMD, TREAT-NMD, AFM-Association Francaise contre les Myopathies and Telethon Italy. [76]
