Conditions that may be noted in the volar zone include the following:

  • Flexor carpi ulnaris (FCU) tendinitis
  • Ulnar head subluxation-dislocation
  • TFCC volar tear
  • Pisiform subluxation-fracture
  • Pisotriquetral disease, degenerative
  • Ganglion - Ulnar artery thrombosis, tunnel syndrome, hamate (hook fracture), fifth flexor tendon (synovitis/rupture)
  • Guyon canal
