The National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines recommend the following tests for the evaluation of suspected PPGL [65] :

  • Plasma free or 24-hour urine fractionated metanephrines
  • Contrast-enhanced chest/abdominal/pelvic multiphasic CT scanning or MRI
  • Genetic counseling
