Physical findings, however, are nonspecific in hypoglycemia and are generally related to the central and autonomic nervous systems. Examination includes the following:

  • Vital signs

  • Head, eyes, ears, nose, and throat

  • Cardiovascular

  • Neurologic

  • Pulmonary

  • Gastrointestinal

  • Dermatologic
