Answer

Studies suggest that up to 5% of the pediatric population in the United States experiences migraine. Approximately one third of these children will have an aura. Approximately 20% of children with migraines develop attacks when younger than 5 years. The mean age of onset for boys is 7 years and for girls is 11 years. [8]
