Answer

Answer

For tardive tics, remove the causative neuroleptic if possible. If the patient cannot tolerate the absence of the neuroleptic, substitute an atypical neuroleptic. Pimozide, clonidine, and haloperidol can be helpful in some patients with tardive tics.
