The following therapies are possibly effective and may be considered for migraine prevention (level C recommendation):

  • NSAIDs: flurbiprofen, mefenamic acid

  • Herbal therapies, vitamins, and minerals: Co-Q10, estrogen

  • Antihistamines: cyproheptadine
