Erosive OLP and epidermolytic hyperkeratosis may occur with interferon alfa therapy for chronic hepatitis C infection. [75] Capillaritis may be present with interferon alfa treatment of chronic hepatitis C infection. [76] Lichen myxedematosus may worsen during interferon alfa-2a therapy for chronic active hepatitis. Finally, thyroiditis may occur during interferon therapy.
