Vitamin D analogues are also used for psoriasis. Randomized, placebo-controlled and double-blind studies have shown a marked improvement in disease as compared with response to other treatments. [49] Other therapies that have been reported in the literature include fish oil–derived n -3 fatty acid infusion, topical retinoids, and tar. [47, 49]
