Case reports have suggested that oral and topical retinoids can provide effective treatment of chronic lymphedematous changes (eg, elephantiasis nostra verrucosa [ENV]). These therapies are thought to help normalize keratinization and decrease inflammatory and fibrotic changes. [78, 79]
