Answer

The onset of hidradenitis suppurativa ranges from 11-50 years, with an average patient age of 23 years. [4] In less than 2% of patients, the disease appears before age 11 years. [44] In extremely rare cases, hidradenitis suppurativa occurs before puberty, but it has been suggested that a prepubertal onset is not uncommon in severely affected patients. [57, 58] or after menopause. [42]
