Exclusionary conditions (conditions that should be excluded) are as follows:

  • Scabies
  • Seborrheic dermatitis
  • Contact dermatitis
  • Ichthyoses
  • Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma
  • Psoriasis
  • Photosensitivity dermatoses
  • Immune deficiency diseases
  • Erythroderma of other causes
