What are manifestations of cystic fibrosis (CF)?

Most patients with cystic fibrosis have severe chronic lung disease and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. Additional manifestations include the following:

  • Nasal polyposis

  • Pansinusitis

  • Rectal prolapse

  • Chronic diarrhea

  • Pancreatitis

  • Cholelithiasis

  • Cirrhosis or other forms of hepatic dysfunction
