Journal of Participatory Medicine
About This Journal
The Journal of Participatory Medicine is a peer-reviewed, open access journal with the mission to transform the culture of medicine to be more participatory. It is published by the Society for Participatory Medicine.
This journal's goal is to build the field of participatory medicine by serving as a single source of articles and multimedia content that demonstrate and illustrate what it is and what difference it makes in health outcomes. We dedicate our efforts in this journal to realizing the change this entails using the tools of science, critical review, consultation, experience, and consensus. Please refer to the Parameters of Participatory Medicine for a detailed description of the context in which we publish articles.
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
